All things Shopify and commerce
Once a product has been added and saved and I click on 'add new product' the Unsave Changes green bar wobbles indicating unsaved changes and won't let me add another product directly.
NOTE: This glitch seems to have only started since the Summer '24 update. ( I'm in Australia FYI)
I'm currently reclicking the save button and then clicking discard button. when I check my website the product has been added. NOTE SHOPIFY. This is not a fix to an issue with your program or software.
Going from the previous discussion pages from a couple of years back you have not bothered to fix the issue.
I'm requesting the issue be resolved as soon as possible as it is time consuming trying to bypass this issue.
* Seeing this from a customers POV I have purchased a product that is faulty and does not do what it is fully intended and therefore would be entitled to a refund or replacement of the product. Not that I would want a refund etc, just a reliable working product.
* From the discussion forums directly on the Shopify website, Shopify has been aware of the issue for some time that the product has a fault but is yet to fix the issue suggesting Shopify is content with continuing to sell a faulty product which to an extent leans toward misleading consumers that would be purchasing the product on the basis of being a reliable, fully functioning and operational product designed for the required purpose.
A normal customer these days would be ranting on Social Media but I am not the normal customer or business owner.
I would hope that Shopify would see and understand both sides of the issue and fix the fault as quickly as possible.
American here and having the same ANNOYING issue! I hope they resolve it soon.
I am also having this issue and would agree that it started after the new update. I add hundreds of products at a time and it is absolutely infuriating that I cannot easily transition to adding the next product due to the "unsaved" banner.
I was just wondering if you were still encountering this issue? This has started happening on my store, probably for a month now. I've got an open chat with Shopify Support and they told me to clear my cache, which I did, but the problem persists.
