I'm also having trouble cancelling my Shopify membership because I didn't make enough sales. I was charged today for the subscription and for an app I didn't use. When I contacted the app company, they told me to contact you.
Do you think I'll be able to get my refund from Shopify now that the shop is closed, as well as resolve the app billing issues?
While Shopify's Terms of Service states that Shopify does not provide refunds, it is possible for an exception to be made in some circumstances. This is determined on a case by case basis, so our team will need to review the account before we can let you know whether a refund is possible. Please get in touch with Shopify Support via live chat, email, or callback in the Shopify Help Center so that we can review the request.
In the meantime, I'm curious to know what kinds of products you were selling and how you were marketing the business. Is it something you'd like to continue with if you were able to convert more visitors to customers? And is the store currently closed, or did you run into an issue when following the steps to close your store?
