Hello, since I use a 3rd party payment provider, my customers are directed to a different page to make the payment.
How can my customers make the payment without leaving Shopify?
The 3rd party payment provider does not support this, how can I solve this with Shopify?
How can I make my customers pay on the payment page without leaving Shopify for the Turkey region?
The iyzico I am currently using is a 3rd party payment infrastructure and does not support this.
How is it possible to set up a system in Türkiye where customers can make payments without leaving the Shopify page?

Hi @nourco

From what I gather, you're currently using iyzico, and it's sending your customers off-site for payment. This is definitely not ideal if you want a smoother checkout process. Luckily, Shopify has a few options to help you with this.

First things first, the most straightforward way to achieve on-site payments with Shopify is usually through Shopify Payments. This is Shopify's own payment gateway and it's designed to integrate seamlessly with your store, keeping customers right where they are during checkout.

However, Shopify Payments has specific country availability, so let's quickly check if it's available in Turkey. I'll use a search to find out the supported countries for Shopify Payments.

Unfortunately, Shopify Payments itself isn't available in Turkey right now. I checked online, and it seems like Shopify Payments hasn't rolled out to Turkey yet. This would have been the easiest solution as it's built directly into Shopify for on-site payments.

Since Shopify Payments isn't an option, we need to look at third-party payment gateways that work in Turkey and offer that crucial "on-site payment" experience.

From my understanding, and based on some quick research, iyzico, while popular in Turkey, unfortunately, does redirect customers off-site for payment. You've already confirmed this yourself.

So, what are your alternatives to achieve on-site payments in Turkey with Shopify?

It appears there are a few other payment providers in Turkey that might offer what you're looking for. Let's explore a couple of them that are mentioned as being compatible with Shopify:

1-Ozan: I came across "Ozan Shopify Virtual POS". They seem to highlight "receiving payments without leaving your site". This sounds promising! They also mention features like fraud prevention and accepting payments in different currencies. It might be worth checking out Ozan Virtual POS to see if they truly offer on-site payment processing for Shopify in Turkey.

2-PayTR: PayTR is another payment gateway that's mentioned in the context of Shopify in Turkey. They are described as "specializing in e-commerce" and "providing a comprehensive payment gateway solution". You'd need to investigate if PayTR offers direct integration with Shopify that keeps customers on your page for payment.

You can likely find more information about PayTR and their Shopify compatibility on their website or by searching for "PayTR Shopify integration".

3-Garanti Sanal POS: Garanti BBVA is a major bank in Turkey, and they offer "GarantiPay". It's mentioned as a "secure payment system" for online shopping in Turkey. Like PayTR, you'd need to check if "Garanti Sanal POS" or "GarantiPay" has a Shopify integration that supports on-site payments.

You can search for "Garanti Sanal POS Shopify" or "GarantiPay Shopify integration" to learn more.

4-Papara: Papara is described as a "leading e-money and payment service provider in Turkey". They offer a "digital wallet" solution. It's worth investigating if Papara offers a Shopify app or integration that allows for on-site payments.

You could search for "Papara Shopify integration" to find out more.

My advice would be to:

  • Reach out to Ozan, PayTR, Garanti Sanal POS, and Papara directly. Visit their websites and look for contact information. Specifically ask them:

    • "Do you offer a Shopify payment gateway integration in Turkey?"
    • "Does your Shopify integration allow customers to pay directly on my Shopify checkout page without being redirected to an external site?"
    • "What are your fees and requirements for Turkish Shopify stores?"
  • Check the Shopify App Store. Search for these payment gateway names in the Shopify App Store. Sometimes, you can find official (or well-reputed) apps that provide direct payment integrations. Read the app descriptions and reviews carefully to see if they offer on-site payments for Turkey.

By contacting these providers and checking the Shopify App Store, you should be able to find a payment gateway that allows your customers in Turkey to pay directly on your Shopify page, creating a much smoother and more professional checkout experience!

If you need any other assistance, feel free to reply and I will try my best to help.

Best regards,

Daisy.
