Recent changes to refunds and inventory that make things harder or incorrect

Just recently a couple of changes were made that hurt the functionality and ease of use for both the refund and inventory sections. You need to put them back or give us a really good explanation for why they were done.

For the inventory, previously the box functioned to let you either add or subtract the number of products you had received or were short by choosing the corresponding up or down arrow, and then you total already showing was updated. With the change if you put a number in that box, the whole total is changed to that number you just entered rather than being added or subtracted to the existing inventory. If you want to use it like you did the old function, you have to click on the little  symbol that doesn't even show up unless you hover over it and looks like spoons facing alternate directions. Then you will get a box that will function to add or subtract that certain number from the existing total inventory shown. This is totally counterintuitive and I should not have to either calculate the total or find the hidden box to do a simple addition or subtraction to our inventory. The first time I added inventory received I didn't realize it was not working the same way. Therefore, I had to go and count the few items that I had entered to get the proper totals, including what was there and what was new.

The second issue is an even bigger disfunction that has caused me problems more than once. If I go to do a refund and I want to do some or all from the shipping on the left and some from the other amount in the right hand blank. If I've entered the product amount, if I then type the number for the amount of shipping into its proper blank and hit enter, the system just processes the amount in the other blank without adding the shipping piece and exits back out. In that case, I haven't done the full refund intended and I have to go back and do a second refund for the shipping amount it neglected to add. Every other system like this adds whatever you enter rather than ignoring it and I'm not sure what your intent was for us to do to get it added to the total.

Again, I have no idea what you think you were accomplishing or improving with the changes. I find them both not only meaningless but problematic. Please explain as I'm sure I'm not the only one who hates these two changes.
