Recieved email that theme does not have valid license code

Good morning,

I received an email this morning stating that the theme that does not have an valid theme license code. I am currently using the theme taste from the theme store. I need to resolve this very quickly. I need assistance I emailed back to get assistance. This just seems strange because I got the theme from the store.

I believe it is a scam because the email was a gmail account and not the normal @shopify.com

Yes if that is the case then it's a 100% scam.
