Redeem Gift Cards for Services?

Our online shopify store sells skincare products, but our physical store also provides (spa) services. How can customers who purchased gift cards on our website redeem them for services at our physical location?

I'm Miles from the Social Care team at Shopify. This is a great question. The short answer is yes, but there are some things you need to have in place for it to work which I'll outline below.

• Do you use Shopify POS alongside your online store?
• Are your services listed as products on the POS environment?
• Are your services available to book online?

If you answered yes to all 3 questions, you'll be able to redeem the gift cards at your physical location. The gift card you create is linked throughout your entire store and physical location if you're connected with Shopify for both. If you don't have your physical products and services listed on the website, you would just need to make sure they are available via POS in order to use the gift cards.
