Redirection When Items Are Not Available

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how to redirect my 301 links that are broken due to removing products from my site. I had personalized items I no longer sold and removed them from my site. Ubbersuggests said I had many broken links. Therefore I installed an app that shows me which ones they are, and most are personalized gifts.

Do I redirect the links to my homepage? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi @leo45 ,

As you mentioned you have an app which showed list of broken links ( which are majorly personalized gifts). You can manually redirect them to respective pages. If there are any products related to those URLS you can redirect to respective product pages rather then redirecting them directly to homepage which can improve user expereience. 

To redirect you can add the link from the navigation as shown in the image below.
