Hello @asad28, here’s what you can do:
Check Shopify’s Refund Policy – Shopify generally doesn’t offer refunds for subscription fees, but there might be exceptions, especially if you were recently charged after inactivity.
Contact Shopify Support – The best way to request a refund is to reach out directly to Shopify Support. Choose Billing & Account → Subscription & Billing and explain your situation.
Provide Relevant Details – Mention that you haven't used the store for two months and didn’t intend to be charged. If you have proof (e.g., no sales activity or logins), it might help your case.
Consider Downgrading or Pausing Instead – If you plan to return to Shopify later, you can switch to the Pause and Build plan for a lower fee instead of canceling completely.

Shopify generally doesn’t offer refunds for subscription fees, as stated in their policy, but you can reach out to Shopify Support to explain your situation and see if they can make an exception
If you haven’t already, make sure your store is fully closed under Settings > Plan to avoid further charges. If your account was accidentally left active, mention this in your request, as Shopify may consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.
For future reference, if you're not using Shopify but might return, consider pausing your store instead of canceling to avoid full charges
