Regarding High Ticket items and receiving payouts

I want to start adding some high ticket items to my shop which isn't up yet. Is it smart to do this if I have little start up cash? Will I need to wait for a payout of payment if someone purchases the product so I can fulfill the order dropshipping?

If I do need to wait for payout its ever 3 days? I have a notification on my store that some orders won't be processed until proof of payment which can be 2-3 days.
