All things Shopify and commerce
Hello! We offer a line of bracelets that have a give-back aspect and we like to display how much we've donated in connection to this collection. Every time we donate, I have to manually go into 12 different product templates and manually change the text box with the donation total.
I'd love to change this to a dynamic source using the Money metafield where I can bulk edit the donation total all at once - which would then reflect on the product page.
However, when I do that, it adds two decimal points (which I can live with) and the currency code "USD". How can I remove this USD when displaying this metafield as a dynamic source.
See below - when typing in this field, there is no currency code.
After completing typing, it adds a currency code:
Then, when I'm in the Store Editor and using the metafield as a dynamic source, it displays that currency code:
Any thoughts?

This is an accepted solution.
Instead of using a money data type metafield, you can use a single-line or decimal metafield.
