All things Shopify and commerce
Hi Shopify community,
I'd like to remove or edit the language for this question mark pop up for estimated taxes on the checkout page. I only charge taxes for sales made in New York, all other states are free of taxes. Having this vague language about "final tax" in the pop up may deter customers or confuse them that they'll be charged heavy taxes after the purchase is made. Please advise on how i can edit the language here. Thanks in advance!
Hi @ejc10,

Hey, @ejc10
You can edit that snippet of text by going into your Shopify admin > online store > themes > click on the button with the three dots ... and select edit default theme content.
From there, use the filter search bar and type in "the final tax" which will pull the snippet of text you are looking for. From there, you can edit it to whatever you want:
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
