Remove overlay from video preview

I have videos, with a white background, which are Shopify hosted. in preview mode, there is a gray shadow over the image. Once the movie plays, the background turns white. 

I would be super appreciative on any advice how to turn the background wide in the preview.

I appreciate your help. I'm in the progress of adding a custom domain name, but I'm having some problems. Temporary URL is

If you click on "let's play a fun game", you will see the videos with the grey overlay. They are originally on a white background.

Thanks for checking it out. The thumbnails are auto generated. The video has a white background. I'm trying to figure out a way how the thumbnail could come in with a white background.
