All things Shopify and commerce
Hi!
I am trying to setup my store and when I go and look at the url it always has /pages I just want it to be eg. johnsapples.com/pricing instead of johnsapples.com/pages/pricing. How would I remove that?
Hi @jaegersims
This is Victor from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App
So sorry but you will not be able to remove the /pages
Because that was fixed by the Shopify setting. The page is for Shopify know that your page belongs to Regular pages
So it will have /pages for regular page - /product for product page - /collections for collection page
And there is no way to remove that
Hope this can help you solve the issue
Best regards,
Victor | PageFly
You cant edit the page URL. you can modify the page title only in the URL.
Hello @jaegersims
You cannot actually change the URL structure of a Shopify store. What you could do though, if your intent is to create a cleaner URL for sharing, is create a URL redirect. You can go to Online Store > Navigation, click on URL Redirects, and add a new redirect from /DIY to /pages/DIY. This way when a visitor uses the johnsapples.com/pricing link, they will be instantly redirected to the Shopify URL.
I hope the above is useful to you.
Kind & Best regards,
