All things Shopify and commerce
Hi all,
We are running Dawn 12.0.0
We want to have product images because Google likes them - even though not strictly necessary for our products. After adding product images we messed about with the product page layouts to get them the way we want.
However, the issue we are having is removing the product image from the relevant collection page - we don't want it to display on the collection page. There does not seem to be an easy way to switch this off.
Please see the url below with a live test:
We prefer the plain text description on the collection pages, as faster loading and easier for customers to read.
Any ideas on how to remove the images by default?
Thanks in advance.

You can hide theme by removing the image code from the theme template so that it does not appear on the collection pages.
OR
You can hide images by using some CSS code which are already showing on the collection pages.
Hi
Thanks for the response
Could someone please add some more details
Thanks

Please quote for doing this work for us.
For security reasons we are unable to provide direct access to our Shopify account, but we can provide copies of the relevant files, so that these can be amended and sent back to us. Alternatively, we can use detailed instructions provided by you in order to make the necessary changes.
1. We want to use product images on each product page.
2. We do not want the product images to show on Collection pages.
3. We want to keep the current basic text descriptions on the Collection pages. Please see:

4. We want this to apply to all Collection pages.
