remove white frame from product image if a transparent image is used

hello dear community

Im using the standard shopify template refresh. when Im using a product image with transparent background png, the theme automatically still makes a "white background frame around it" -> how can I remove this function, because it should always be transparent and the background color of that very website should be applied

and another question,

in the website builder I see the following aspect of the image, which I like:

full face is visible

but then when I look at the website preview, its cutted:

face is not seen completely

how can I make sure the the same image cropping from the theme builder is also visible on the actual webpage? thx
