Replacing Shopify order confirmation email with mailchimp

Hello Shopify community,

I am just wondering whether it is possible to replace the shopify order confirmation email with a mailchimp version via the mailchimp app?
Or alternatively, if someone may be able to help us edit the content of the existing order confirmation email to better fit our brand and process.

Hi there, thank you for this. We have already built the email templates in MailChimp, so the bit we need help with is turning off the shopify automatic notifications (which I assume needs ccs code). Is this something you would be able to assist with? Thank you

While the order notification cannot be disabled, you can edit the order confirmation email here

admin > settings > notification > order confirmation

If you need that template customized contact me directly by e-mail for services.
Please always provide context, examples: store url, theme name, post url(s) , or any further detail.

Thank you Paul. Do you mean it is not possible to disable the order notification, even with additional CSS code? Is this the same for other automated emails too?
Disabling and sending via mail chimp would be our preference. If this is not possible, then customising the existing email templates further would be good. We have an email already built in mailchimp that we would like to replicate as closely as possible. (Cusomising the message, and including an image would be great). I can share this by email.
