Hi, I need help on replying to customers that send a message through the contact form on my website. It comes to my connected email I use (which is a gmail account) and when I hit reply....it replies from my gmail account. I want it to be a professional looking email template and it to reply from my professional email. How do I do this without a third party app? Is it even possible? Why isn't replying from my professional email easy. I don't want to give away my work gmail to customers.
@MiaMakai1 - on your settings page - store details; your business email address should be listed under "store email". If the gmail address is in there, that would be why the contact form is pulling in that address as a default.
It's my professional email I made from where I got my domain...so I routed it to my gmail because I don't know how else to receive emails because it's not an @gmail.com or @yahoo.com, etc that doesn't have an actual route...I need help....
@MiaMakai1 - when you created your professional email, did you use GoDaddy or a similar hosting service? If so, it should have given you instructions for where to sign in...in my experience it is usually Gmail (but using your business domain) or Outlook 360. If you log into your account that you have with your domain host, click on the email, you should see a screen similar to this where you can log into the email account. It should also tell you which provider it is with:
If not, you can contact your domain host's customer support and ask them which provider it is with. I have not heard of a domain-based email being assigned without a carrier before, so I would try that.
