Report Inconsistencies for Discount Code Sales

Our Sales by Discount Report is not accurately tracking discounts.

 

It shows 3 orders using a discount code, but when checking via the "Orders" tab and filtering by code it has been used 18 times for the same time period. This has also been verified by adding up the times used in the email confirmations sent on the backend about orders.

 

Anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?

Reports can take up to 72 hours to fully populate all the latest data which explains the lag time you are experiencing with accurate information. We recommend waiting that full period before pulling the report you need to get the latest data available in consistency with the sales on your store.

did you get any replies? I'm seeing the same issue.  Orders that have a discount code that are not appearing in the sales by discount report. I"m curious if there is a pre-filter on this report that is filtering out orders for whatever reason.

I seem to be having the same issue also, the report seemed fine last month but this month only a few of my orders with discounts are showing on the report. Did not know if maybe it only updated once a week or somethng like that.

Thank you, I will keep that in mind and see if my reports start updating tomorrow from the weekends sales.  I am assuming the 72 hours if from the time the order was placed?
