Report on payment method used during a month

So, on our store we have 4 different payment methods: Shopify Payments, Paypal, Klarna and Cash on Delivery.

I would like shopify to tell me how many times each payment methos has been used in a single months. 

For example, if in december we got 100 orders, where I can find something like this: 
Paypal: 20 orders
Klarna: 20 orders

Shopify Payments: 30 orders
Cash on delivery: 50 orders

I'm getting crazy about it as we need to check how many cash on delivery we get each month for tax purposes, but it looks like I cannot find this anywhere. Is not even in report - payment per type as that only tells you each order one by one what was the payment system, it doesn't sum it up.

Unfortunately, the Payment by Type report in Shopify is pretty limited. It doesn't allow you to customize to what you are trying to do.

We have a built-in Transactions report Volume per payment gateway which shows the all time transaction volume by gateways. The report can be filtered for different date ranges.
