Hi There, It's incredibly frustrating to only see a percentage difference in Analytics, with no actual data/figures/amounts for the 'Compare to' date range.
It's also frustrating this was removed from the home screen but it definitely shouldn't have been removed from the Analytics page, that's the place for analysis - right? The data is all there, why hide it?
REQUEST #1: Display 'compare to' data in graphs on Analytics home page.
Basic info like this isn't percentages OR data - we absolutely need percentages AND data. But worse, if we drill into the 'Sales over time' report YOU CAN'T COMPARE TO THE PREVIOUS YEAR??!!
How does that option get left-out?
REQUEST #2: Allow full range of 'compare to' date-ranges on the drill-down report page.
These omissions are so weird - no?
I totally agree - it’s frustrating not having both percentages and actual figures for comparisons. Removing the "Compare to" data from the home screen and analytics page feels like a step back. The ability to compare with previous years in the 'Sales over time' report is definitely needed. Hopefully, Shopify listens to these requests for more detailed insights!
I couldn’t agree more! I’ve been sitting here for nearly an hour trying to return the settings to the views and analytics I’ve had previously and I’ve just realised… I can’t. It’s ludicrous and I honestly can’t imagine why Shopify would take elements away (important elements) rather than adding beneficial information on. If anyone has any info that I’m just not seeing, please let me know as I was reliant on this feature for instant insights into my retail business.
