All things Shopify and commerce
We offer a "Buy X for Y Amount" discount in our store. Since Shopify does not natively support this discount type, we use an app to implement it.
However, we've observed an issue in the Shopify order page where the pricing details are displayed incorrectly. For example, if a customer orders three products—two of which qualify for the "Buy X for Y Amount" discount and one that does not—the following occurs:
This setup prevents us from seeing how much discount has been applied to each individual product. It makes it difficult to assess the exact pricing breakdown and accurately reconcile the discounts applied at the product level.
To avoid this, we would need to push the discount data at the item level from the checkout. However, since we are using a third-party checkout for our store, resolving this issue has become more complex.
We would appreciate any guidance or recommendations to address this and ensure proper pricing visibility at the item level.
