Requiring a bundle

Hi everyone,

We have a style that comes in several colors/sizes that we want to require people to buy 3 of in order to purchase at all. We do not want to sell the items individually. We have tried several apps but none so far have given a great user experience or made it very obvious to the customer what we are asking them to do.

When they arrive at the product page, we want to tell them they have to choose 3 products in order to add it to their cart. They do not get a discount for the bundle, so it is just grouping the items for a single price. When it comes through on the order pick ticket, it should be 3 items with the individual skus for our team to fulfill the order.

Not yet, but from everything we have seen it may have to be custom. Still working on it!

are you still looking for a solution? What I understood from your description, MultiVariants - Bulk order is the perfect solution for you. It does the same as what you are trying to achieve.

The app allows you to display all the product variants on the product page and set a minimum/maximum of variants and order quantity limit. In your case, you have to add the variants in Shopify, and then set a limit of minimum order quantity 3 through MultiVariants.

Once you are done with the setup, your customer must choose at least 3 products from the available variants before they can Checkout or Add to the Cart.

In addition, the app also offers min/max order quantity per variant, min/max order value, custom text field, and many more. 

Have a look at this Demo Product which has a minimum order quantity of 12. So customers must order at least 12 products from the available variants, either it can be 12 products of a single variant or a combination of different variants to meet the order limit.
