Reserve stock for unique items for a limited-time

Is there an app that will reserve stock for items for a limited time? I release new items twice a week and there is flurry of people adding to their cart but only one person gets it. Therefore I was looking for an app (or even code) so that once customer adds to their cart, it is no longer possible for any other site visitor to add to their cart.

Thank you for your quick reply. When I try to click and view the apps you have recommended, I receive a 404 error. I also cannot find them in the Shopify app store when searching for them by name. Sorry but I am confused. Is there another way to find them?
