Response Code 429 (Too Many Requests) while using /cart/add.js Ajax API

Hello,

I have been using the Ajax API to retrieve cart details by utilizing the POST /{locale}/cart/add.js endpoint. However, we encountered an error: "Client error: POST https://{store}/cart/add.js resulted in a 429 Too Many Requests response."

After reviewing the documentation, I discovered that for Ajax API requests, there is no specific hard limit imposed. Therefore, I would like to understand the underlying cause of this scenario and also inquire about any possible request limits for the Ajax API.

Same here, and not idea how to possibly resolve this.

Same issue on my side. Shopify insists that the issue is with our theme as this doesn't happen on a "fresh" theme. The issue was resolved just by waiting for it to resolve and they still tell me it's issue with my theme while no changes were done...
