All things Shopify and commerce
Hi, i'm looking to restrict some of our products on specific days.
I haven't been able to find an app that suits what i need to do. I don't really want to use an app to change any of our current delivery set up rates and postcode and this is all i have been able to find.
Im looking to just block out around 5 products from being able to be delivered or picked up from our store for two days in the next month. Once those dates have passed we will have them back available for purchase as normal.
For example... 5 of my products will not be able to be purchased on the 12th and 13th of February. I will still like to allow people to view these products online and purchase them on a later date or a prior to the restricted date.
Is this possible through coding ?
Kind regards,
Bianca
Hi Bianca,
Teh quick fix is to perhaps just make their inventory zero on these dates. They will still be viewable, but wont be able to be purchased.
Hi thank you for your reply. Unfortunately this wont work as we still want people to place their order for earlier dates and dates past the restricted days.
This function will need to implemented at least a month prior to the restricted dates. So we will need orders to still be placed.
I have the same question as well. Same for me here - I need to sell products in advance for specific dates. For example, I'm taking orders for breads that are only available Friday-Sunday, and also selling a limited-edition Valentine's Day gift box for two weeks starting tomorrow (but we've been taking orders two weeks in advance).
