All things Shopify and commerce
I am seeking insight about the Shopify return policy. I see that a person can include details that indicate that there is a no return policy for a product by indicating such a policy in the text box under "Written return and refund policy" under the Policies section in the Shopify dashboard.
I also see information that refers to a return policy. I am referring to the "Return Rules" under the Policies section in the Shopify dashboard. There is an option to enter the number of days allowed for returns. I also see that there is an option to turn on the "Return Rules" or leave them in the off position?
What exactly should one do if there is a no return policy for a particular product?
Should the ""Return Rules" be left in the off position?
Hi, I believe it’s essential to have a clear return policy in place, even if it states that returns or refunds are not supported. Transparency is key in building trust with customers. Concealing the return policy can lead to confusion and may deter customers from completing a purchase due to uncertainty. A well-articulated policy helps set the right expectations and can save both you and your customers time from unnecessary inquiries.
I hope this helps.
