Review and Testimonials

Can anybody tell me what the difference is between a testimonial and a review.

In my personal opinion I don't think there's any difference. But from the stores I have seen and realised reviews are most often used when people wanna review a product you are selling. And testimonials are when people are commenting on the service you have provided may be you are a coach, an instruction in different fields. 

So most probably it's the word that is used in different but majorly there's no such difference. Hope this clears some point.
