Sales being rerouted to Ebay????

I sell on Ebay and Shopify. I had A customer who said when they went to purchase an Item that they were rerouted to my Ebay store to check out there. I don't want my customers rerouted from my shopify Store to my EBAY Store to make their purchases, Some people hate Ebay and Amazon and want to only shop with smaller sellers. 
  Does this happen a lot and why would it happen at all????

Before we dive in, it's important to clarify how most eBay apps work with Shopify. They will likely sync your products and inventory allowing you to sell both through your store and through the eBay market.

From your question it's unclear where your customer was directed from when they were routed to purchase on eBay. If you have product links on public spaces, it's very possible they are connected to your eBay listing as opposed to your Shopify store listing. 

To help narrow down the issue and see if it can be resolved, I encourage the following:

• re-create your customer's experience to understand where they clicked 
• edit or update that original listing to your Shopify product link, as opposed to the eBay product link
• please provide screenshots of this investigation so we can provide further guidance

The Customer's were on my Shopify Store, When they went to make A purchase, they were sent or rerouted to the same listing on my Ebay store to check out. I don't want that to happen. My Product pages on Shopify are not meant to be just links to my Ebay Listings. A lot of customers don't like Ebay or Amazon. That's why I have a shopify Store.
    A lot of the listings on my Shopify store were copied over from my Ebay store using the CEDcommerce importer.   
      I can tell when this happens because people send me messages or ask questions on Shopify about sales that took place on Ebay. That's why I finally asked a Costumer why they were contacting me on Shopify over A sale that went through on Ebay. It didn't make sense. They intended to buy on shopify but were rerouted over to Ebay to make their purchase...

Have you been able to recreate your customer's experience from your Shopify store and been re-routed to checkout on eBay? Are you able to provide your store link so I can test this out as well?
