All things Shopify and commerce
We are newly moving our things to the Shopify channel on Facebook and having an odd issue. I have all of our categories and items set to NOT be available on Facebook except for one, so I could get things set up and working before we deal with all the items being live. Except it is still showing almost all of our items on Facebook as available. Even things that are draft, or out of stock or archived. Which makes no sense? Is there something I'm missing to check?

@Apryl The product catalogue from Shopify Syncs automatically, You have to edit your catalogue from Facebook. Normally it do not get updated on Facebook as we update on Shopify, It takes time to get updated. What we suggest you is you have to got to your Facebook catalogue and remove the unwanted products manually. If you still feel it difficult and this solution is not working with you, you can reach us through message or email

Thank you 🙂 I did do that a bit, but was concerned if they were still trying to sync I'd just mess up the behind the scenes thing so walked away for a bit. Glad to know that is good to do, thank you.

Hi @Apryl,
I just wanted to add a little extra after @premadestores reply. Regarding your comment about anything else to check, you can see the Publishing products on the Facebook channel guide here which goes into detail of everything you need to know when syncing your products to the Facebook sales channel.
But again it can take some time for this and you will need to remove it manually as it will sync the products automatically.
