sales tax billing

Hi. I opened my website a few months ago. I do not have an LLC so when adding items, I have chose to NOT collect sales tax. Its what I was told I could do but now finding out that is incorrect. My home page is giving me the messages "you are not collecting sales tax" and now saying they will start adding it to my shopify bill every month starting November 28. SO, my question is do I need to get an LLC? If so, thats fine! ill get it done. BUT, if I take that route, will shopify still bill me for that sales tax? If they do, will they be sending it in for me? I just wanna make sure im doing this right and it wouldnt make any sense for them to bill me for it and NOT pay it for me.
