Scam email?

I keep getting these compliance escalation emails threatening to close my store. They come from compliancecenter.shopify.help@gmail.com which I think is fraudulent.  Please assist and advise on what to do. I have never clicked any links.

Yes, it is a clear scam. Nothing to advise, you did all correct, and yes, do not click any links.

Now, hope you do not mind the question, have you searched here or on Google before posting?

No, please do because there are hundreds of topics, some are about compliance, but there are  a dozen more scams and some users posted what happens if you do click a link, or contact them back.  It is educational.

One tip: create a filter in your email app/provider/site,  so that if the email name contains "shopify" and is @gmail.com, then delete straight away. And maybe some other variations. Because Shopify will never use Gmail.
