search bar popup after tapping it in dawn theme

i changed my search icon to bar but after taping on it this naturally pops up a full bar again, i wanted it to just search in the same bar without new popup

 i wanted it same as the above after tapping it on desktop mode and the below option in mobile mode

Just to gather some additional context, would you happen to be able to share your online store URL with us? Also, would you be able to let us know if you have made any custom coding changes on the Dawn theme? As this will allow us to take a further look into the issue.
