Optimize your website's individual pages for specific keywords: Use the target keyword in the page's title, meta description, headers (H1, H2), and within the content. Ensure the content is valuable, informative, and well-structured. Include images with alt tags that include keywords. Use internal linking to connect related pages within your website.

Hello Michelletmxz,

Thanks for reaching out!

Keyword Research is the core of search engine optimization.

Here are some suggestions for you:

  1. Understand the intent of the customers: It is important to understand the intent of the searchers or the target audience, which helps in determining what keywords they shall use to carry out their search.
  2. Understand the buying cycle: Determine the ways the people search and reach the website, and group the keywords into mid-level and end-level searches to target the searchers in the middle or last phase of their buying cycle and retain them till the end to increase conversions.
  3. Understand the search path: Understand how the searchers behave, which means the keywords used by the searchers to carry out the research and generation of additional searches in the path. Based on this, keywords can be determined and grouped.
  4. Determine the long-tail keywords: Long-tail keywords are long phrases with five or six words, which exactly describe the intent of the users. The competition and search volume of these keywords are low, but they help in reaching the right set of audiences that increase the conversions of the website.

You can use Keyword Search Tools, like Wordtracker, Linkdex, Raven, Semrush, and Moz to determine the keywords based on the intent of the customers, their buying cycle, and search path.

Thereafter, check their competition level, search volume, and effectiveness index, and make decisions which shall be used on the website.

You can add the keywords to the title tags, meta descriptions, URLs, product names, product descriptions, file names and alt text for images, blogs, and articles. With proper usage of keywords, the website can rank better on the search engine result page.

Hope it helps!

Hi @Michelletmxz ,

Creating effective SEO for your website starts with understanding your target audience and the keywords they use when searching for products or services like yours. Begin by conducting thorough keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner or SEMrush. Identify both high-volume keywords and long-tail keywords that are specific to your niche.

  • Use your main keywords in critical places on your website, such as page titles, meta descriptions, headers, and throughout your content to signal to search engines what your page is about.
  • Optimise your product images by including relevant keywords in the file names and alt text.

SEOPro can significantly simplify this process for you. It helps by auditing your Shopify store for SEO issues, offering recommendations to improve your SEO score, and providing bulk optimization tools for your products and collections. This can save you time and ensure your store is fully optimised for search engines.
