Search Results return more than exact match. FIXING IT WITH CODE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Searching for a specific SKU returns results with 'similar' SKUs and the right one. This is garbage. Previous responses to this question suggest, as always with Shopify, backend coding as the fix. You are as worthless as Microsoft support who does literally the same thing. 

PLEASE UPDATE THIS so that we can toggle between your crappy 'similar results' or what is simple and logical: the exact result of the SKU, or word combination, that has been entered! Only the exact match! 

Who designed Shopify? Someone(s) that never worked in Retail, apparently. 

And please please please, do not bother giving an answer to this unless it is the one I need. I don't want to hear "thanks for your feedback" or "we'll pass this on to our development teams"... and most of all, do not make a product we pay for have to be edited on the back end by us! That's your job - you code a working program, then we buy it! Or we give up on Shopify and change providers.
