Section options not appearing when trying to add new section

I'm trying to add new sections and my section options have disappeared. When I click 'Add Section' nothing shows up. Previously, there were options. I am using the Empire theme and they have many available. 

Can anyone advise on how to get them back?

Hello @christiep ,

Seems theme is not installed properly. btw to confirm edit the theme code  and check under sections  which files are available there.

I suggest reinstalling the theme again..

Maybe your theme limits section can be added to the Header. Could you try to click Add section under Template to check?

Thanks @Dan-From-Ryviu - you're correct. I had limits under Header but I was able to add section under Template. Thanks so much for your advice!
