See sell through rate for entire product - not by product variant

I'm trying to find the sell through rate for a whole product, not just by the variants sold. 

E.g I have a high neck knit with 5 colour options. I want to see the sell through rate for the whole knit but the report only shows me sell through by each colour/size.  

It would even help if I could see the starting quantity for the whole style. I can only see the starting quantity for the variants that have been sold.  

Is there a way to do this?

In Shopify, the sell-through rate report is only available for individual product variants, and not for the entire product as a whole. However, you can still calculate the sell-through rate for the entire product manually using the data available in your reports. Here's how:

• Go to Shopify panel -> Analytics -> Report -> select Sales over time report
• Set the date range -> select the products you want to analyze in the Filter section
• Find the "Starting inventory" column and note the starting quantity for the product.
• Find the "Sold" column and note the total quantity of the product sold during the selected period.
• Calculate Sell-through rate (%) = (Total quantity sold / Starting inventory) x 100
