Currently, my website is built on Interspire Shopping Cart (big commerce), and I am considering migrating to Shopify to take advantage of its advanced e-commerce features, ease of use, and scalability.

1. SEO Advantage: HTML offers full control over speed, metadata, and URLs—critical for rankings. Migrating risks SEO disruption unless redirects/content are perfectly preserved.

2. Cost & Time: Migration could take 2-6 months and cost 5k−5k−20k+, with ongoing Shopify fees.

3. Customization: Shopify limits design flexibility compared to HTML.

4. Recommendation: If SEO/organic traffic is a priority, stick with HTML but modernize it (e.g., integrate headless commerce tools). Only migrate if ease of use/scalability outweigh SEO risks.
