We are a pet food and supply business that apparently offers a much more unique experience than websites can handle. I am struggling to find anyone who can help me with a solution to this that's better than what we have...
We offer nationwide shipping, in-store pickup, and a monthly delivery service where we drop at 70 different locations in the Midwest. Not all of our products can be received via all of these methods but I'm looking to give my customer the best possible experience based on where they're located. I've paid a Shopify Expert to build me a pop-up where the customer selects their "receiving method" but it doesn't work well and depending on how the user lands on our site, it doesn't work at all.
I'd LOVE to be able to show on the products which methods are available while the customer is shopping and I've seen it done on another website but I have no idea how to get it to happen. I'm seeking a straight forward user experience where the user can cleanly shop based on what their options are to get the product. The fastest way to lose a customer is for them to get to checkout and find that they can't get the products they've spent all this time shopping for.
Is there an app that does this? A Shopify Partner that is willing to get creative with me and make this happen? I'm open minded but so far it seems these Shopify "experts" are basically just there suggesting apps which I've already been through myself and haven't had luck. I've looked at the lock apps but they don't have the functionality to offer a selection to drive the experience.
