Sell by weight

I'm trying to sell products by weight but i don't know how, ¿has anyone solve this issue?

Hey Ale,

This post doesn't relate to the Shopify Script Editor App so I'd assume you've posted this in the wrong forum section. You'll get better responses if you post in a related section so I'm going to move your post elsewhere (why).

As for selling by weight, can you not just use the quantity to equal your weight? So if you sell in Kilograms, adding 5 to the cart would add 5 Kilograms of the item.

Hi ! The reason i posted this here is because i wanted to know if using the shopify Api can solve this.

I can make a unit weight a kilogram and do as you say. But i'm looking to input the exact weight. Instead of using units 5 units of 1 kilogram i want to enter the exact amount of kilograms. I sell meat and other food products.
