SEO Issue - Advice appreciated.

Hi guys, I have a SEO issue.

I have been working on my store for 1 - 2 months+ so its been password locked. I updated my meta title at least 1 month ago however it still has not updated. I've unlocked it today and noticed it still has the same meta title/description.

Meta description:

''[My Website Name]. Coming Soon. Signup for our newsletter and get updated when we launch our site see our newsletter policy. Login with Password.'

Can someone with some experience give me some advice?

What's the fastest way to get this updated on google?

How long did it take for google to update your meta title/description?

Thanks for your time.

Hi there,

Have you tried to ask google to index your website? You can do that through Google Search Console.

On average, it shouldn't take more than a few days to have the new title/description reflected.

Cheers!

Hi @SoMaCa ,

It sounds like your store's meta title and description haven't been updated on Google due to the password protection during your initial setup. Now that your site is live, you can request Google to crawl and index your site through Google Search Console. Submit your site's URL for indexing and check the Coverage report to ensure there are no crawl errors.

SEOPro can also be beneficial in this context. It helps identify and fix SEO issues, ensuring your meta titles and descriptions are optimized for search engines. Plus, SEOPro's bulk optimization tools make it easy to update your site comprehensively, enhancing your SEO strategy efficiently.

Hi,
I am glad to be involved in this thread.
This seems to be a high frequency question.
If you have a small website, it is recommended to submit a sitemap to Google Search Console. This will allow Google to crawl your website faster, and it will update your new changes.

If you want to update the meta title and meta description of a single page, you can do this:
