Serious issue with apple pay not working with stripe on shopify

This is a persistent issue that has been on the platform for months (maybe years) and yet no support, software engineers, computer scientists or anyone out of the 10,000s of employees in the company have done anything regarding this issue that has impacted merchants that unfortunately cannot use Shopify payments or any other 3rd party payment processors that support apple pay. I have talked to both ends, shopify and stripe, and absolutely nothing has happened in regards to solving this major issue within the platform. Every time I talk to stripe they tell me the issue is on shopifys end and every time I talk to shopify they tell me some of the most useless advice, that I have to clear my cache, and they always escalate the ticket to the billing team that just ends up never resolving anything. I hope you guys can somehow fix this urgent issue, if I can easily integrate apple pay with stripe on funnelish you guys definitely can too, thank you, have a nice day.

Apple Pay is not working on the platform probably because of using old Stripe integration or invalid shipping addresses. Make sure that Stripe. js is updated, Apple Pay has been enabled in Stripe, and address validation is fine tuned. Take this matter further with the details included to the dev team of the platform so that they can resolve it as soon as possible.

Just wanna point out that you cannot change anything on the stripe dashboard since it literally indicates that shopify is responsable for managing the payment methods. Furthermore, this issue has been persisting for years. People have been discussing about this on the shopify forums since 2022 and yet it is still an unsolved mystery.  This is a horrible issue that needs to be fixed by the devs and other teams.

Yes, then this needs to contact Shopify support follow up, and remind and remind as their dev team needs to fix this longstanding Apple Pay Issue with Stripe.

You need to use a third party “Shopify Stripe Checkout” solution that also supports other payment methods in your Stripe account.
