Im run a wholesale B2B business and have customers requesting my product data to upload to their website. I would like to have a page on my website to provide customers with a feed to my product images, descriptions, SKU, barcode, attributes, prices etc.
Is there a way I can do this other then using the product export option such as a app or something. This way I wouldnt have to do it manually when its requested.
Cheers Mark
A native way may be using shopify-flow to populate a google-sheet.
Hypothetically set up correctly could even have a per customer/company catalog.
Not sure how well massive catalogs would work with this.
An advanced frontend customization using javascript might be able to help here but if you have a massive catalog this is not the way to go and you need an automation/app.
A performance limitation of the frontends is they paginate sets of objects like products. Meaning you cannot just simply spit out every product in a store making one giant webpage.
Beyond that you need an app like usemechanic to either script generating a CSV file, or a pdf,etc

Hi Mark, I have some experience of setting up something like this for a client
So the client had a large Shopify store but needed to share these products with third parties who would actually recreate the same products in their stores
So we were able to create this format through Feed Donkey & there was no manual intervention needed - the data/ file was shared via a URL already in an importable state.
Get in touch I'm sure we can help

There are plenty of apps around that shall do exactly what you need, Mark.
Search for wholesale order form, you will see a few apps around that. They will automatically create a list of all the products on your website and have them all in a single page with even the option to quickly add them to the cart.
Now, go a step further and you could lock that particular page using any of the locking apps around (wholesale lock manager or any of the other lock managers) and lock that page so that only people with access to the link could open it or with a particular tag could open it.
That ways, your retail customers won't even see that list, those special rates etc.
Hope that helps? If you need any further help, let me know. I have worked exclusively with a over a thousand stores on shopify to sell to wholesale customers and build solutions that work exclusively for the wholesale side of your store.
Cheers,
Darshin
Hey Mark! Did you ever find a solution for this?
We're looking for the same thing but can't seem to find anything!
Thanks in advance.
