Shipping & Deliver

Is there a way that I can have local pickup or local delivery for some items, while still allowing shipping for others? To give context, we sell furniture as well as smaller decor items and Christmas ornaments. We don't want to offer shipping on our furniture items but we do on the others. I have tried to google this but I keep going round in circle. I have created a second location that allows for the local delivery and pickup and transferred out furniture products to that location, but when I test what it is like on our website, I looks as if it is still just shipping it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
