Good Day

I am looking for a solution for the following issue -

I currently store goods in an Irish warehouse and ship to Ireland. We offer 2 shipping services during the checkout process for items located in our Irish Warehouse.

The services are as follows:

Option 1 - 1 to 2 Day Shipping

Option 2 - Next Day Shipping

This system is simple and works well at the moment.

I want to start shipping products to Ireland from an international warehouse. The shipping time will take 7 to 10 days for delivery

I want this information to be clear to the customer. I have created a metafield line of text on the cart page which displays the shipping time for the items shipped from our international warehouse.

I have setup 1 shipping profile with 2 warehouses. When a customer purchases items stored in our irish warehouse only everything works fine. The correct shipping rates are displayed. Likewise when someone purchases an item located in our international warehouse only the shipping populates fine.

The issues i am encountering is if a customer purchases 1 x Product from our Irish warehouse and 1 x Product from our international warehouse the shipping cost is combined and it is not clear to our customer that the item located in our Irish warehouse will take 1-2 day for delivery and the item located in our international center will take 7 to 10 days for delivery.

Is it possible to have individual rates displayed for items stored at different warehouses during checkout.

Can anybody help me this issue? What is the best way to integrate this flow or similar flow.

Thank You

@Screenshelf  Hey To address your issue, Shopify does not natively support displaying separate shipping rates for items from different warehouses during checkout. However, you can implement a solution with a few customizations.

If you're on Shopify Plus, you can use Shopify Scripts to customize the checkout experience and display different shipping rates and delivery times based on the warehouse each item is coming from. Alternatively, consider using apps like "Advanced Shipping Rules" or "Better Shipping" for more granular control over shipping rates. Enhancing your cart messages with conditional logic to indicate shipping estimates based on the combination of items in the cart can also help.

If an automated solution isn’t feasible, manually informing customers through additional notices in the cart or checkout pages might be necessary.

Hey there, @Screenshelf! Thank you for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums with your shipping rate request here. My name is Imogen. It's good to meet you!

@rajimulislamjoy is correct that Shopify does not natively support displaying shipping rates individually when items from different shipping origins are within the same cart at checkout. We've received a fair amount of feedback around this limitation so I'm happy to share your use case and this thread with our team for their consideration! I can't promise what may come as a result of sharing this feedback, but you can trust the appropriate folks here at Shopify will see what you've shared! @rajimulislamjoy suggestions around how you could have greater control over your shipping rates are great! Using third party apps like Advanced Shipping Rules would certainly help in providing you greater control!

I wanted to jump in here and let you know that I shared feedback around the nature of this thread with the team and always wanted to stress that looking at the suggestions @rajimulislamjoy shared above is certainly a worthwhile venture!

Hi @Screenshelf - I see there are responses already. Just wanted to add that Shopify is soon releasing split shipping capabilities and you should be able to show delivery dates for each shipment. Other than the apps already mentioned, you also explore ShipperHQ with a free 15-day trial. This will help you gain more control over your checkout experience.
