All things Shopify and commerce
With shopping cart abandonment being a big problem with online retailers, why isn't the shipping information shown on the Shopping Cart page in addition to the Checkout page? This eliminates the surprise to customers as they have seen the subtotal of their order but on Checkout page now they see full total, it allows customers to "play" with the quantities button to see how increasing/decreasing quantity effects the shipping cost, and once a customer is on the Checkout page, you don't want them going back and forth to Shopping Cart page as it's a no no and just promotes cart abandonment. This isn't a fix that should be put on an App developer but should be part of the Shopify store platform. metalcraftusa
Thank you but I have shipping calculated just fine now so the issue isn't how shipping rates are displayed to customers BUT where the shipping rates are displayed on the site is the issue. Shipping should be shown on the Shopping Cart page AS WELL AS the Checkout page. That's what I wish to accomplish.
