Hi, 

 

I have this error: 

 

Shipping not available

 
Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Review your address to ensure it's correct and try again, or select a different address.
 
I have tried to replicate the issue and I cannot but it is only affecting some carts not all. I put the exact same products in my cart and cannot replicate. 
 
Because I cannot replicate shopify support will not escalate it to a technician. My customer who receieved the error once they refresh the cart the issue is gone. However they cannot do a recording of the issue as they don't know there is one. Once they refresh no recording can be made. 
 
 
I really need some help I am losing sales daily.

Hey Gpa2023,

 

Customers reporting errors on checkout is the worst feeling! This has happened to a few clients of mine at various stages. Almost always it's an issue with the shipping settings for a given product. Here's some things you can try:

 

1. Go to the shipping settings in your Shopify admin and ensure there are rates for every possible market that you're selling in.

2. Setup backup rates if you're using carrier calculated shipping. Sometimes there's no calculated rate by the provider resulting in no shipping options resulting in the error.

3. Check your package sizing. This is used as an input for the carrier calculated rates and if there's a package sizing that doesn't conform to your shipping it'll thrown an error. An example I dealt with was a client of mine had a 1cm thick envelope and this prevented customers from checking out.

 

I hope one of these areas is what's causing your headache. Hope this helps.

I went back and saw this error has been happening since January 2024 in my store.

Hey Gpa,

 

That C&C cage is 1KG. a 1KG empty box might be tripping things up. Try adjusting it to a hundred grams or so.

 

Some good news, I reproduced the error! So now we can do some working back.

Upon some further testing and watching the video. I think your shipping zone for printify isn't setup to accommodate all zones. When you walked through it on your video I saw the printify shipping profile for AUS, but nothing else. Confirmed I get the error with a two tone mug - rules for a happy life in any country outside of AUS.

 

Try setting up for the other countries and it should work!

I only want printify like the mugs etc for Australia only - if I set for all markets will this resolve the issue? I have made the custom package 100grams. 

 

Are you a shopify partner? Is there anyway we can get this looked at more in depth with you?

Could you do up a loom video of the replication of the error at all? I stuggle to get it on my end in case we need to escalate to a tech?

Below is a video of me reproducing the error for you! I believe if you enable Printify shipping zones for other countries your problem should be resolved for now. The tough part about limiting certain products to certain regions is someones location is not easily known until they reach checkout. So someone with items in the cart not applicable to their respective zone errors out on the checkout (not good).

Sorry forgot to add, the error is occurring for Australian customers for products that are cages for example and not the mugs

Hi, did you find a solution for this error? I am also getting this error message after having added a couple of products to our store via Printify. If there is anything from Printify in our cart we get the error "Shipping not available. Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Review your address to ensure it's correct and try again, or select a different address."  It happens when only Printify products are in the cart or a mix of Printify and product that we fulfill. I'm entering an address located within the United States. Our only active market is United States. We have one active location, our physical warehouse, and one app location, Printify.  When we linked our store to Printify, it brought in two shipping profiles, one for each product and it's associated fulfillment center. I received the error message when the profiles each had all of their original country profiles 2 for one product and 30 for the other. After getting this error in the cart, I deleted all of the shipping profiles for anything but the United States. I confirmed that these Printify products do not appear in any other shipping profiles. I have tried with no success to ship with the split shipping enabled and disabled. Also, I double checked and yes, the Printify products' websites say they ship to the United States. If you found a solution, I would love to know what it was. Thank you.
