Shipping rules for goods packed on pallets

Hi All.

We are trying to find a shipping app that can help with the following issue.

We ship the majority of our products on pallets of varying sizes depending on the quantity of product ordered. See below example of what we require.

Product A: packaging

Order QTY = 1. Packed on 1 skid with a size of 80x80x187cm x 39kg.

Order QTY = 2. Packed on 1 pallet with a size of 116x116x187cm x 76kg.

Order QTY = 3. Packed on 1 pallet with a size of 116x116x187cm x 107kg.

.........

Order QTY = 10. Packed on 3 pallets with a size of 116x116x187cm x 107kg each. And 1 skid with a size of 80x80x187cm x 39kg.

...And so on...

Hope this makes sense. This method is used for many of our products. I am happy to set each quantity based rule for each product so that the live rate can be displayed accurately. 

Preferably we would like an end-to-end solution. Live rate, tail-lift option, order sync, label printing, booking, etc. 

We have been having a lot of trouble finding an appropriate app to handle this requirement. I would be happy to hear any suggestions you may have.

To enable carrier-calculated shipping rates during checkout, you'll need to find an app for the specific shipping carrier you use. You have not specified the carrier you're using.

Using Shopify's Flat Rate Shipping based on quantity isn't viable, but you can consider a weight-based approach. For example:

- 0-38KG: $100
- 39-76KG: $200

To implement this, assign a weight of 38KG to each product. Consequently, when a customer buys two products, the shipping cost will be $200.

Thank you for the suggestion - this may be workable.

As we have many products (with different weights), many shipping zones, with a quantity limit of about 50, this method will take some time to setup manually. Is there anyway to import a CSV or something similar to do this in bulk?

Shopify doesn't support bulk import of shipping rates.

Our app ShipMagic does support adding different packages for different quantities of items. Please be informed that you would need CCS to be enabled in your store for any third party shipping rate app to work.

Easyship were not helpful at all. "Sorry we are unable to help with this type of enquiry" was their response. Pretty disappointing actually.
