Shop App displays ‘Ready to Ship’ status for customer when I ship with no tracking

Is it possible to change the ‘Ready to ship’ to ‘Shipped’ in the shop app when I fulfill an order with tracking number? 

I get a lot of confused customers from this.

Yes, it is possible to change the wording from “Ready to ship” to “Shipped” in the Shop app, but it requires a few steps since the Shop app pulls this information from your order status settings in Shopify.

Here's how you can manage this:

1. Order Fulfillment: When you fulfill an order in Shopify and add a tracking number, it should automatically update the status to "Shipped" for your customers. Ensure that you are marking the order as fulfilled properly and entering the tracking details.

2. Custom Notifications: You can customize the order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails sent to customers. This way, you can set clearer expectations about the status of their order. Go to Settings > Notifications in your Shopify admin, and modify the relevant email templates.

3. Use of Tags: Consider tagging orders with “Shipped” when you fulfill them. While this won't directly change the wording in the Shop app, it can help you manage and track your orders better.

4. Shop App Settings: The Shop app does have its own settings that might be influencing what your customers see. Make sure to check if there are any options for customizing statuses within the app or in your Shopify settings.'

Hi, I ship with stamps so I never have a tracking number, what would I do then?

Yeah we have this problem too. Please can we have a way of editing the Shop notification wording?
