All things Shopify and commerce
Today a customer called to inform me that she never signed up for a product subscription with us but she was charged for one of the products without her knowledge. After checking the customer's order, I was able to verify that her order had been placed by the Shop channel. She was absolutely correct; she had no subscriptions with us for repeat orders. I don't understand how Shop is able to charge customers without their permission. As a merchant, it appears to the customer that we have engaged in these unethical practices. I have tried to reach out to Shopify many times in the past about issues with Shopify. Unfortunately, they will not offer any help or resolutions in Shop matters. Has anyone else experienced issues with customer payments or sign-ins from Shop integration?
