Hi, 

I'm new here, 

I have 2 probems :

The first one being, when i search for my shop on google, the title of the link ends with "ma boutique" (="my shop") Does anyone know how to remove it ? 

My second problem is that i have changed the meta description but it won't appear on google.

Thanks for reaching out. To understand the issue better please clarify if you refer to myshopify.com domain as shown below. If that is the case, can you also share a full screenshot of you search term and result in question on Google?

A domain is the URL or web address where your customers go to find your store online. By default, your online store was given a myshopify.com URL when you signed up for Shopify. Unless you purchase a custom domain for your store, then your customers will see and use myshopify.com to visit your website.

If you’d like to purchase a custom domain you can do so directly from Shopify admin. Follow this guide on how to do it in a few steps. 

In regard to your second question - if you’ve recently updated your description, Google might not have crawled the page, or updated their index with your content. It can take time for Google to process the changes you made, depending on how frequently your website is crawled. You can also request that Google re-index your page using any of the methods listed here and here.

Hi, thank you for your answer but this is not the problem i was mentioning, here is a picture of my problem : 

when doing a google search the link is including "Ma boutique" ...

For the description i haven't updated it in 2 weeks and it is still not showing up, same for hthe favicon

Generally title that is visible on Google search results is edited within Online Store > Preferences > Homepage Title. However, without going through your account setup, it will be hard for me to detect if this is related to delay in Google recrawling the website or the title has to be updated within a certain section in Shopify admin. This can sometimes be hardcoded in the theme code.
